Quality Systems

With AAco’s Paddock to Plate motto, Traceability and Quality Assurance becomes an essential part of the Company’s day-to-day operations. To ensure Customer Satisfaction, AAco has implemented a combination of third party audited Quality Management Systems.

Certified Systems Include:

  • The international standard for quality management systems, ISO 9001:2000, across head office activities, the Branded Beef business, Aronui and Goonoo Feedlots, and Chefs Partner.
  • Certified food safety system, HACCP Codex, at Aronui and Goonoo feedlots, Branded Beef, and Chefs Partner
  • National Feedlot Accreditation Scheme (NFAS) across the Aronui, Goonoo and Meteor Downs Feedlots
  • The highest level of the Livestock Production Assurance Quality Assurance Program (LPA QA) for the beef industry, across all AAco Stations
  • EUCAS
  • The Woolworths Quality Assurance program (WQA) for our Woolworths Production Area at Chefs Partner

Food Safety

AAco was first accredited to CattleCare (LPA QA) in 1996, when the Brunette Downs Station was the first station in the Northern Territory to be accredited. Since then, AAco has practised a full supply chain approach to managing food safety at every step of each process, thereby maintaining control of all elements of the production process, in order to guarantee quality.

These programs are regularly audited by external consultants and the accrediting body. The Company’s initiatives to adopt the various quality assurance programs ensure that its premium beef products are backed by the best practices known in the industry.
