Glenn McCamley – Manager Goonoo Station
Glenn was born in Rockhampton where his family own a Brahman stud & commercial enterprise on 20,000 acres, situated just south of Rocky. After Glenn’s schooling he attended Emerald Pastoral College, and then ventured north for 2 years working for Ian Mcbean on Bradshaw station, where he worked in the bull catching camp. From there he went west to Broome working on Roebuck Plains, and then worked for Peter Lacey on Mt Elizebeth station. In 1992 he went home where he worked for his parents as well as doing night work in a marbel mine operating machinery for 3 years. In 1996 he left home and went to work for Eric Nobbs as stud manager on his Brahman stud at Biloela for 2 years, and then for CPC at Banana as the stud overseer on the Brahman stud.
Glenn then started for AAco in March 1999 at Goonoo Feedlot as a Pen rider. At the end of 1999 he was offered the position of Livestock Foreman, which he held for 2 years before being offered the Livestock Manager position. He held this position for 5 years until in December 2006; he was offered the Station Manager position for the backgrounding on Goonoo.
Glenn is married with 3 children
