Matthew Barrett - Manager South Galway

Matthew Barrett grew up on a small cattle property in Central Queensland.  Matthew attended boarding school at the Rockhampton Grammar School.

Before joining AAco Matthew worked on various cattle properties in Central Queensland.  He travelled to Canada on a one year exchange program, working on a cattle and farming enterprise.

Matthew join AAco in 2001 as Headstockman at South Galway where he spent the next 2 ½ years. In 2004 he transferred to Canobie as Headstockman and in 2006 Matthew was promoted to Assistant Manager at Canobie.  In late August 2006 Matthew was again promoted and transferred to Manager of South Galway, where he now lives with his wife Tina and family.
