Henry Burke - Manager Brunette Downs and Group Manager Northern Stations

Henry is the Manager of Brunette Downs Station and the Group Manager Northern Stations.

Henry’s career has been working on large cattle properties throughout the Gulf country of Queensland and the Barkly Tablelands area of the Northern Territory.

Over the past 21 years during his time with AAco, he has held positions such as stockman, Headstockman, Manager and his current position of Regional Manager.  These positions have seen him working on Canobie, Wondoola, Headingly, Wrotham Park and Brunette Downs.

As Group Manager Northern Stations, Henry is responsible for overseeing the Barkly stations consisting of; Anthony Lagoon, Avon Downs, Austral Downs, Eva Downs, Headingly Station, Brunette Downs, plus the Gulf and VRG properties.  The Barkly stations run approx 185,000 head of cattle.

Henry is an executive of the Northern Territory Cattlemen’s Association, he is passionate about the beef industry and the people who work in it.

Working within the AAco group over the past 21 years has been a very rewarding time and to have been involved with the development of the Company has seen many changes, such as genetics, training for our staff, certified agreements, property development programmes, better working and living conditions for staff, environmental planning etc.

Henry and his wife Bernadette have four children.
