David Bailey – Feedlot Manager Goonoo

David joined AAco in 1998 as a member of the feedmill team, and progressed through the mill as a leading hand, and foreman to the position of Feedmill Manager, a position he held for five years prior to his appointment to Operations Manager in early 2005.  After the company staff restructure David was appointed to the Manager’s position at Goonoo Feedlot in late 2005.

In 2003 David attended a study tour of the United States feedlot industry, gaining a valuable insight into large-scale feedlots and the technology being used to run them.

His wife and family live at Milperoo, one of the properties that make up the Goonoo aggregate. David has found the last eight years spent with the company rewarding and continued to enjoy the non-stop atmosphere of the feedlot and the challenges that present with it.
